Tie-a-Tie.net Launches Blog for Tie Aficionados

San Francisco, CA (PRWEB) October 29, 2011
It?s in the way a man puts his hands in his trouser pockets, the way he holds a cigar, the way he puts his arm around a woman?s waist and the way he drinks a glass of whiskey. Some men have it in spades, while others are missing it all together. It?s not easily defined. It?s class. It?s also in how a man ties his tie. And, while class usually can?t be taught, a new blog aims to help American men cultivate it a little bit at a time. Tie-a-tie.net, the world?s most popular necktie knot tutorial site, has launched a new tie aficionado’s blog at to teach modern men everything they need to know about how to make an impression.
A soup-to-nuts guide discussing everything from fashion trends to etiquette to dress codes, the Tie-a-tie.net blog helps over 10,000 visitors a day learn useful tidbits of information, such as how to tie a Half Windsor tie knot or make dimples in one?s necktie. The blog is regularly updated with posts on a wide range of topics like advice on what to wear to a warm weather black tie occasion, a guide to dress shirt collars, necktie storage tips and how to wear tie bars. In addition, the site offers tips on other finishing-touch flourishes, like how to properly fold a pocket square.
Not every man has a natural air of gravitas about him. The Tie-a-tie.net blog aims to help the average guy become a man who turns every head when he walks into a room (as opposed to making everybody want to leave the room). For men who want to dazzle women with their elegance, instead of frighten them with their frumpiness, Tie-a-tie.net is a must-read blog that will aid in achieving a polished, formal look.
?The new blog is a place tie aficionados can turn when they want to know what?s the best way to care for silk neckties, remove stains or keep ties from getting frayed,? said Tie-a-tie.net founder Hendrik Pohl. ?It?s also an informative website for beginner tie collectors who simply want to know how to tie a Kent knot.?
Attracting over four million visitors each year, Tie-a-tie.net has already taught some 50 million how to tie a tie.

Blogging – Blogging And Cold Hard Cash -Is This An Oxymoron?
Article by Cindy Floyd
Have you ever started a home based business and had your up-line tell you the first thing you should do is start blogging? I rather doubt it. Most old school internet marketers dont have a clue about how to market in the web 2.0 world let alone understand blogging.
However, starting a blog is easy, low cost and can generate all the leads you need to get your home business off the ground quickly. It’s not hard to blog. It does take commitment every day to post valuable information and you should know a few basic keys to success to have to produce your desired results.
Tip #1
This may seem obvious, but it’s also one new online marketers violate everyday; your blog must contain valuable information people want. Blogging about your date last night might interest your friends but it won’t build a business. So what do I mean by that? I mean don’t use this to hard sell your home business product. That turns people off. People want to learn how to do something. Give them useful information on how whatever it is your selling or teaching will help them. If they can see how it will make their life better they will follow you, trust you and buy or join you. Logical!!
Tip #2
If you believe what some of the so called home business guru’s say they tell you your blog doesn’t need to be pretty. I disagree. Try this out for yourself. Serf the net, look at the blogs, what you think when you land on a black and white site with a bunch of words, or a site with well thought out pages, appealing graphics and other options for thought?
I bet you like the pretty blog! Most people do, it gives your site an immediate level of credibility. And it you not have to spend a lot of money to get it. Wordpress templates are free all over the internet. You can even go to Wordpress.org and host your site for free. I don’t recommend this, especially if you are a control freak like me. But it’s a place to get started learning Wordpress and the basic tasks of daily blogging. Once you have a handle on that, move it to your own hosting site.
Seriously if that paragraph scares you, outsource this, having your own blog is great business.
Tip #3
Collect leads; that’s why you’re doing this. Again this is not as hard as some might think. You can offer a free e-book, which you can write yourself, pick up on other websites for free, or outsource the writing for about .00. Once they subscribe you now have the ability to send them more information on our home business opportunity.
Social bookmark every blog post. The more you give yourself attention the more others will find you.
If you like video do it. This is the place to be in internet marketing. Post it on your blog. The more personable you are the more trust others will have.
Making blogging fun not a chore. The more you blog the more traffic you produce, which is great for your home business. Real money can be and is made everyday with a simple blog.
