Embed pictures into your posts. A picture is attention grabbing and can also help convey your meaning without using words. That is definitely true in the area of blogging. Images have a lot of power when added to words. This is why you should include images as often as possible.
Creating an large amount of relevant posts on your blog will help search engines find your site. In other words, every blog you write has the potential of attracting new readers. Follow the advice of this article to improve your traffic and increase readership to your site.
Consider allowing guest bloggers to post to your site. If nothing else, it will help you improve relationships with these individuals. Don’t underestimate the importance of making connections with other bloggers. If you are in need a favor, a blogger that you have a relationship with may be willing to help.
If your blog has popup windows, make them load after all of your content has loaded so that the users will be able to view your content rather than just closing out of the pop-ups. This will improve the user experience of your blog, and it improves your chances of drawing repeat visitors.
Linking your various posts within the overall content is good blog design. Interlinking will enhance site navigation, and your readers will greatly appreciate that fact. Your readers will flee if they can’t get around your blog through obvious navigation methods!
As you decide on which keywords to use for your blog, remember that it is crucial to select unique ones. If you put in the same words as everyone else, your site may not be seen by others. Keep your keywords unique to get the search engines’ attention.
Utilize tabbed zones when you recommend articles. Another important hot spot is right before your sidebars. You can make a tabbed zone that has all of the essential articles for each of your categories that are most relevant. By organizing your content, specific material is easier to find and you can significantly enhance the click rate for all of your best articles.
Remember to edit and proofread everything! If your posts contain spelling and grammatical errors, you will be turning readers away. If you don’t already know how to write in the correct manner, brush up on your skills before publishing any content.
At this point, you should have a good idea about blogging and its advantages, and you are most likely anxious to begin. Researching more about blogging will help you ensure that your blog is successful.

CFL Canadian Football For The American NFL Football Fan
While football in the United States is associated with crisp autumn days and cool nights, in Canada professional football begins in the summer time. While NFL training camps won’t open until mid-summer by then the Canadian Football League (CFL) will be well into their regular season schedule.
American football fans may not realize just how long and storied the history of Canadian pro football CFL style actually is. The league has been around since’30 and the Grey Cup championship (essentially the CFL Superbowl) has been in existence since’09. Many NFL stars got their start in the CFL including Doug Flutie, Jim Kelly, and Jeff Garcia.
While the CFL plays football at the highest professional level of competition outside of the NFL, there are a few differences in the game:
The most obvious difference is the football itself–the CFL football is longer and fatter than the NFL ball. The CFL still has their goal posts on the goal line, which the NFL moved to the back of the end zone years ago. The field is 10 yards longer and 12 yards wider than the NFL field, and the CFL end zones are 20 yards deep instead of the NFL’s 10 yards.
CFL teams are allowed an extra offensive player (a wide receiver), and on defense they’re allowed an extra defensive back. This means that 12 players can be on the field at one time as opposed to 11 in the NFL. CFL football also differs in that teams only have three downs to gain ten yards, as opposed to four in US football. The phrase “two and out” is as commonplace in CFL football as is “three and out” in the US game.
There are also differences in the scoring of the game. The first time I saw a CFL score tied 1-1 at the end of the first quarter I thought I was hallucinating. A major rule difference between the CFL and NFL is the fact that teams can score a single point, which those clever Canadians call a single. Basically, a team is awarded a single point for a missed field goal or a punt that lands in the end zone.
The rule differences also extend into the front office, where teams are required to have a certain quota of their roster be Canadian born. In an effort to prevent the CFL from becoming an NFL farm system, and to protect the unique identity of Canadian football’ of the 40 players on the roster must be natives.
Perhaps the greatest misunderstanding is that the average NFL fan looks at the rules of the Canadian game with more players, a wider field, and fewer downs and concludes that the game is a wide open shootout similar to Arena Football. That is not really the case–you’ll see some offensive battles but most games end up with final score totals in the mid to high 40s. In Arena Football, you’ll frequently see teams with potent offenses enforcing their will over and over again against teams with porous defenses. You don’t see that too often in the CFL. The rules may be different, but as is the case in American pro football you need a solid rushing game and a stout defense to win games and championships.
There’s also more parity in the CFL than even the NFL, which is famous for the competitive equality of their teams. The reason is fairly simple–football at the high school and college level in Canada simply isn’t as competitive as in the US. That means the mandated ratio of native players also serves to facilitate parity within the CFL.
The CFL isn’t in a financial position to draw the top level US players away from the NFL or, in most cases, even a NFL practice or developmental squad. While some US players are uniquely suited to the CFL style of play, most of the US players that end up there are of a similar talent level as to that seen in Arena Football.
Despite the differences between the CFL and American football, at the end of the day its still high level, professional football. Once you understand the unique aspects of the CFL, it’ll become second nature much as NFL viewers quickly assimilate rule changes there.
You wont see CFL news on ESPN, since they’re more interested in featuring spelling bees and lumberjack competitions and letting their personalities like Stuart Scott show how clever they are than covering sports. The good news is that the CFL receives extensive coverage in the Canadian press and all you need to do is visit a couple of websites to stay up to date. Each CFL city has their own sports media, and most have pretty good websites. The best one stop shopping can be found at the leagues own and Slam! Sports, which is roughly the Canadian equivalent of ESPN’s website and has extensive CFL news, opinions and statistics.

Henderson Tops Cerrone For Interim Lightweight Title
The oldest fight sport adage in the world is ’styles make fights’. For that reason, no one knew quite what to expect in Saturday’s WEC Interim Lightweight Championship battle between Donald Cerrone and Ben Henderson. Henderson was known for his dominating wrestling skills, while Cerrone has a reputation as a punishing striker. Instead of being a clash of styles, however, it was an instance where the differing approaches of the two competitors complimented each other perfectly. The result was a ‘fight of the year’ candidate bout that Henderson won by unanimous-decision.
Henderson opened the fight with a takedown, but quickly got caught in a guillotine choke attempt. He extricated himself from this predicament only to find himself in a triangle choke that appeared for a moment to be a potential fight ending submission. That would not be the case, however, and Henderson would take control in the last half of the round with his powerful takedowns and ‘ground and pound’ punching assault.
Rounds two and three were all Henderson, as he took Cerrone down almost at will and began to pummel him on the ground. Cerrone managed a couple of submission attempts from the bottom, and did what he could to keep Henderson off of him with upkicks but nowhere near enough to salvage either round.
The tide would turn again in the fourth round, as Cerrone began to time Henderson’s takedown attempts. He became much more difficult to get to the ground, as well as administering punishment of his own after stuffing takedowns with punches and knee strikes. Later in the frame, Cerrone came close to ending the fight when he locked in a nasty and unorthodox choke that WEC commentator Frank Mir described as ‘almost an inverted rear naked choke’. After some tense moments, Henderson was able to escape. Cerrone would also control the final round, evading Henderson’s takedowns while scoring with his striking. He had another potential fight ending submission attempt in the fifth round, as he locked in an arm bar and appeared to have good leverage as he twisted Henderson’s arm into a nasty angle.
The decision itself was somewhat surprising, with Henderson winning all three judges’ scorecards by identical 48-47 scores. He’d clearly won rounds two and three, while Cerrone was the obvious winner of rounds four and five. This meant that all three judges had given the edge to Henderson in the first round, favoring his takedowns and ground punching attack over Cerrone’s two early submission attempts.
Henderson will now face WEC Lightweight Champion Jamie Varner to unify the titles. Varner entered the cage after the decision was announced to ‘cut a promo’ on the winner, and suggested the fight take place in December in Phoenix, Arizona though neither the date nor venue has been finalized. Varner was originally scheduled to face Cerrone, however he had to pull out of the scheduled fight due to injury.

What Are The Best Back-link Generators and Backlinks Tools Used On A Wordpress Blog?
When I first commenced publishing and handling material on a blog of my very own, I had no spectators and no audience, despite the quality of the material I released. After doing a fair amount of research I discovered that what I needed to invest in was the utilization of the back-links tool. Now my blog is extremely successful, and I only have to worry about what to put on my blog while the word of my website is spread throughout the web for me.
The first thing I did when making an attempt to increase traffic to my blog was study up on the seriousness of a backlinks tool. What I found was the only sure way to increase perspectives to your page is to throw up backlinks online that direct traffic to your site. I opted to utilize a back links generator like the Automatic Backlink Creator 3000 so that this is done for me.
So how does a backlinks tool work? Well, what a back links tool will do for your page is create a hyperlink that shows up on another internet site as a key word related to the material on your internet site. When a person reading the website sees the highlighted key word or phrase, they'll then be able to push the word and be redirected to your page. This is brilliant because it guarantees that those that click these hyperlinks, or automatic back-links, will be interested in the material they are going to find on your page.
A backlinks generator is a backlinks tool that does all the work for you. All you have got to do when working with a backlink generator is help stipulate the type of material that is found on your site or blog and sit back while the automatic backlinks are created for you. These backlinks will steadily appear all over the web so that the traffic to your website or blog is gradually enlarging.
Apart from blocking you from having to create your own automated backlinks, what else can a back-links tool do for you? Well, the more backlinks that are planted across the Internet, the bigger the rankings of your website or blog will be. It's not possible to be sure that your blog has a steady quantity of traffic when you?re making an attempt to increase backlinks on your own , because it is not possible to manually place back-links all around the web. Employing a backlinks generator will make sure that this is managed for you, because they are going to place backlinks on web sites or blogs that you may not have found alone.
After I discovered that I was pointlessly spending time making an attempt to create backlinks on my own, I made up my mind to employ a backlinks tool that would build automated backlinks for me. I now use the Automatic Back-link Creator 3000, which is the best backlinks software out there. This programme can be accredited as the primary source of my blog?s success and the sole reason that it now appears on the top page when looking related material on Google.

Blog Ideas For Business
Blogs should now be an integral part of the small business owner’s marketing arsenal. While the idea of website design is still a frightening one to many of us, the top blogging platforms like Wordpress and Blogger have simplified this process so well that there’s no excuse not to blog your business. Whether your company offers products or services, there is no denying the additional authority that having a web presence brings. The advantages of blogging your business extend beyond this article, but we’ll highlight some of the most important reasons.
Internet use is rising by leaps and bounds and to “Google” something is a expression that even my grandparents recognize. Let that sink in for a second. Everyone turns to the internet to get the answer or additional information on anything they want to know. Your business can’t answer their questions if you don’t have a blog to stare them back in the face. Customers want their answers now which means calling your business to find the answer takes a back burner to first looking you up on the internet.
Advertising doesn’t come much cheaper. Beyond the cost of purchasing a domain name and hosting account which typically will set you back about $7 a month, everything else can be done for free. So, I don’t want to hear any excuses. Not knowing how isn’t an answer because 71 million people worldwide have figured out how to use the Wordpress platform alone. Find the time to learn as there’s no downside to developing your business blog.
Having an reputable web presence is also a excellent selling point should you ever choose to put your business up for sale. Older, more established websites with excellent content frequently rank better in search engine results and after you’ve added regular content over the course of a few years, the value of your blog will very likely have a significant impact in drawing more business in. Additionally, it conveys a thorough marketing strategy to possible investors or buyers.
Lastly, it is fun! Most business owners are creative souls and constructing a blog from the ground up can be a very rewarding experience. There are literally tens of thousands of ways that you can adjust the physical appearance and features of your blog from incorporating awesome photos, to video or audio interviews with guests, and memberships so that your customers continue to return. You don’t need to know HTML or any other code as most of these applications are available for free download on your blogging platform. You just add your actual content.
Of course, it’s always good to have someone to turn to with any of the minor questions that come up along the way when you’re first venturing out. Each blogging platform has excellent Help Forums which usually already have an answer for the question you’re about to ask. Nevertheless, over at BlogIdeas.co, all we focus on are creative ideas and tools to help blogs flourish. We have two additional pages focused on how to create a blog here at our Niche Guide and Niche Blogger’s Tool Belt. After all, that’s what we do. Micro-Niche Guide
Micro-niche blogging is a great way to make extra money on the side. In fact, over time, it can turn into a full-time income if you pick the right niche market. There are a lot of tools that can help you select the most profitable niche markets which also have low competition. However, unless you are a hardcore blogger, you’re going to want to pick a niche that is something you enjoy writing about. Creating a professional blog is much easier than it sounds. From here on out, we’ll discuss the main components of blogging for money and how you can get started making extra income.
I want to express that you can make money blogging for free. At the same time, many of the products and tools that are mentioned here do come with a fee, but will also start to pay for themselves within a matter of months. Throughout this post, I will do my best to offer at least one free tool per step so that you can find a pathway to earn money from blogging without spending a cent.
***Please note that if you are primarily interested in the specific techniques that show how you can make money blogging, skip down to Step 8 where I describe these tactics further. For those of you that are new to blogging, please continue reading.***
The first thing is what the heck is a niche and how is it pronounced? Well, I’ve heard it pronounced many ways, but most dictionaries include the pronunciations of “neesh” like geesh and “nitch” like hitch. Pick one and go with it or, if you prefer, stay non-committal and use both. A niche is simply a very specific sub-market that is focused on a particular audience. For example, take my blog fantasydraftstrategy.com which focuses on a very specific target audience that I enjoy writing about. The base market is fantasy sports. The sub-market is fantasy sports drafts. I dug a little deeper for the sub-sub-market and chose to focus on fantasy draft strategy.
Step 1: Some tools of the trade to select a target market niche are Google Adwords Keyword Search Tool, Market Samurai, and Long Tail Pro. Google Adwords is completely free to use and does provide a slew of information to find out what keywords have high search results with low competition. Market Samurai does offer a free seven day trial, but requires purchase to use beyond that time period. However, the market research that this tool provides is the most complete and detailed that I’ve found on the web. Lastly, is Long Tail Pro which you can buy for a one-time fee and hasn’t been around as long as Market Samurai, but appears to be a little easier to navigate for those not used to researching the niche blog market.
Step 2: Take note that there is not a free option stated in this step and it is not a requirement in order to eventually make money with your niche blog. However, creating a official domain for your blog will give it credibility and make its appearance much more professional to visitors. If you have no need to have your own domain, then you can skip this step and not miss a beat.
While you are analyzing your possible micro-niche keywords, you want to also see if the domain name is still available in that exact phrase. A domain is simply the web site, like this one which is blogideas.co. If the exact search term that you chose is not available, then I suggest you keep searching for one that is. You can check to see what domains are available by searching for them at a website such as godaddy.com. Just enter in the domain you are looking for and click enter. If it is available, then great! If not, then it will give you some alternate selections or you can continue your search on your own. The nice thing about GoDaddy is that they offer .co domains which can be a great alternative to .com domains. I have several .co domains myself and believe they are very professional.
It is reasonable to expect to pay anywhere from $2 up to $15 per year for ownership of a domain. However, there are premium domains that sites such as GoDaddy auction off for hundreds or thousands of dollars, but I don’t feel that would be a wise use of money. By purchasing a domain, you will also need to host the domain. You can do this through GoDaddy Hosting since you’re already buying your domain there.
I have always used Bluehost.com to host my blogs and I don’t have a bad thing to say about them. I love their live chat help system and the great layout of their control panel. Also, right now they are giving you one free domain if you sign up for hosting through them. If you do buy your domain at GoDaddy and want to host it on Bluehost, it only takes a couple minutes to point your domain towards Bluehost and they are happy to give you the step-by-step instructions.
Step 3: After you’ve selected your micro-niche market, it is now time to set up your blog. If you chose to include Step 2, you still need to set up an account on a blogging platform. There are dozens of blog sites that allow you to create a blog for free. Two of the top sites are wordpress.com and blogger.com. If you chose to skip step 2 which would provide you with your own domain, then you will have a domain that is part of your blog host’s domain. If you niche blog is called “Example” and you opened your account on Wordpress. You’re domain would be wwwdotexampledotwordpressdotcom. If you bought the domain exampledotcom, then your domain (or web address) would be wwwdotexampledotcom.
I have always used Wordpress as the platform for my blogs. It was the first platform I ever used and I’m very comfortable with the layout, the features, plugins, and general feel of the site. There are thousands and thousands of ways to modify your blog with Wordpress with themes and plugins to make your site unlike any other out there.
Step 4: Now that your blog is registered, it is time to start the customization process. Now, there are hundreds, more like thousands, of templates that are available. Many are free and many have an associated cost. Picking out the theme that is right for you is definitely a trial and error process. Aesthetics play a large role in repeat visitors and it is important to have a theme that looks well-designed, but also functions properly. I’ve settled on the HeatMap Theme for all of my blogs. The reason is that it’s main purpose is complete integration with Google Adsense which is how you will generate a significant portion of your site’s income. There is a very basic version of this theme which can be found here. I have sampled more themes than I can count and not to knock on most of the free ones, but they just aren’t built for AdSense. If you want to create a blog just to blog, then many of the free themes will work perfectly for you. However, if you want to make money, then you need a product that works right and comes with solid support and tutorials.
Step 5: Well, hopefully your still excited although this information can be overwhelming. While everything above is very important, it isn’t exactly riveting material to read through. At this point, you’ve found your topic, decided on a domain and host (if applicable), and have got your theme squared away. I’m going to skip over all of the additional customizations that you can make to your site as much of it depends on your target market, the direction you want to head, and your own style. I constantly add or remove widgets, plugins, and rearrange data on my site to give the user the best experience possible as well as maximizing my own revenue. I will say that if you stick with Wordpress, that you will have an amazing collection of plugins to choose from which you can locate for free here. And to clear up any confusion on what plugins are versus what widgets are, it is pretty simple. Both are applications that you download onto your computer and then upload into your blog through your control panel. The difference is that widgets are typically features that the visitors to your site will see such as widgets showing YouTube videos, pictures, a live Twitter feed, etc. I think of plugins as applications that are just beneficial to you on the control panel (backend) of the site. These would be applications such as site stat trackers, SEO optimization programs, and Cache programs. The visitors looking at your webpage don’t see these items.
Step 6: Yeah okay, Step 5 wasn’t really a Step. Or was it? I wanted to put a brief synopsis somewhere in there so that when you start playing around with your blog, you’ll have some sort of a clue as to what is going on. So, now it’s time to add your content. While it will take another article to explain the best methods of creating articles that be optimized for search engine results, it is important to focus on keeping your blog on topic. In order to create more articles, try to break down each topic into a 500-600 word count. Creating multi-part series is a great way to do this. You don’t have to post multiple articles a day, or even one a day, but providing regular content will go a long ways in building the reputation of your site.
Step 7: Marketing and backlinking your niche blog. This is a very involved topic and one that will eventually encompass it’s own specific post. Until then, I’ll try to give you a crash course. Search engines rank sites. This ranking is based on many methods that are unknown, but many experts have figured out several of the key ways that this is done. We are going to use the Google search engine since it is the largest in the world. First, you can’t expect to open a blog and have it show up on the first page of search results right away. This will typically take months and months, all though I’ve ready many stories of people who’ve got their sites ranked #1 within a matter of days or weeks. You want to get on the first page of the google results page. This drives your daily viewership way up which in turn will drive your AdSense revenue sky high.
So, how can you get ranked #1 or at least on the first page of search results? By backlinking. A backlink is when your website is mentioned on other websites without you mentioning their website on yours. These are called one-way links. However, if you mention another website on your blog and they reciprocate the favor, that is called a two-way or reciprocal link. This doesn’t have as much importance in Google’s analysis.
How do you create backlinks? There are many ways and some of them are free, but time consuming while others come at a cost, but will take care of the process of submitting to hundreds of sites for you. You can google “Article Directories” and start signing up and creating accounts for each one. Each time you write a new article, you’ll have to manually go to each site and upload it. However, it would take you hours to do this for even 50-100 directories. I use two different article submission websites on a regular basis. The first is UniqueArticleWizard.com. The website looks gimmicky, but once you get to the control panel side of things, it looks much more professional. This site works fantastic and saves me so much time considering I tend to put out at least one article a day across all of my blogs. The other site is JetSubmitter.com. I have just started using them to see how they compare. So far, I like what I see. The great thing about JetSubmitter is that they also have an article spinning service which I discuss below. They take care of automatically signing you up for hundreds of different directories and you just need to upload your content and go through the submission process. Also, both of these sites offer free trial periods so you can check them out and then back out if you don’t like it. However, if you’re serious about making money, then you are going to want some sort of automatic article submitter in your arsenal.
On top of that, each submittal needs to be unique. Research has shown that Google doesn’t like duplicate content. So, you need to rewrite portions of the articles or change out many, many keywords each time in order to make this unique. However, some independent researchers say that article uniqueness is overblown and that Google won’t disregard your article because the exact same thing is all over the web. So far, I’ve leaned to the side of caution and created unique versions each time I create a new post. Article spinning is not something that is much fun to do yourself. Even if you have loads of extra time, I just don’t see how it can be worth the effort. Right now, I’m using JetSubmitter.com to spin all of my articles. However, I just signed up for TheBestSpinner.com as I’ve heard great things about this site and I wanted to try it out.
Step 8: I had thought about putting this topic at the beginning of the post, but I wanted to really keep things in a chronological order. Also, I think it’s important to develop blogs that you enjoy writing about and not to create blogs simply to earn money. You’ll get very tired of checking back to that site if it isn’t something you like doing. So what is this Step about? Here we’ll discuss how you will actually making money with your blog. There are several main ways and you utilize each of them on the same blog.
The first type is Google Adsense. As we’ve been discussing, this is a very common method of revenue and the HeatMap Theme is designed specifically for Adsense. Every blogger that I know of uses Adsense as it is easy to set up, pays well, and offers a wide variety of customization.
However, an even better source of income is called Affiliate Marketing. For full disclosure, many of the links in this article, although not all, are affiliate links. (I’ve since unlinked all affiliate links in this article). This means that if you click on the link and sign up for their service, I will get paid. At the same time, there are thousands of links that I could plug in this article and I’ve only chosen the tools that I’ve personally used and would recommend to others. I could go on and on about tools I’ve tried that are garbage, but I’d rather not. Start visiting other websites that are in your niche or broad topic. You will see links on their websites for affiliate programs.
The last method to increase your blog’s income is to write an eBook about your topic. Writing an eBook tends to make you an authority figure on the topic, even if you aren’t an expert. Now, I have yet to complete any of the three eBooks that are currently in process. Also, I don’t consider myself the be all, end all of any of the topics. What am doing is writing from my perspective in regards to my specific site topic that I’ve done a ton of research on and generally have quite a bit of experience. To be honest, I haven’t yet determined the price level of the books and I’m considering giving away one of them with a subscription registration.
As we close, I hope you’ve found this guide helpful. I’ve tried to keep this as brief as possible, while also covering all of the main points in getting a blog up and running. I could spend much more time and go into a lot more detail about each particular step, but this information will get the ball rolling. I always like hearing feedback from my readers and would love any comments (good or bad) that you have to say.
